Exposing OLE Automation Objects
Exposing objects makes them available for programmatic use by other
applications and programming tools. To expose objects, you need to implement the objects
using OLE Automation; create a type library that describes the exposed objects;
and register the objects with the system.
This chapter discusses how you should design an application that exposes
objects, then uses the Hello and Lines samples from the OLE 2 Software Development
Kit (SDK) to demonstrate how to implement the design. Throughout the chapter,
the filename for the example precedes the example in parentheses.
