Compression Functions

Following are the three compression functions provided by the Pen API.

Function	Description
CompactPenData	Provided only for compatibility with version 1.0 of the Pen API and may not be supported in future versions. Use the functions CompressPenData and TrimPenData instead.
CompressPenData	Primary function used to compress and uncompress pen data.
TrimPenData	Removes selected data from an HPENDATA object to reduce the size of the memory block. For example, TrimPenData can remove OEM information, timing indexes, pen-up points, and so forth.
