Application Notifications

The programming model for Win32 Telephony matches the standard programming model for the Win32 environment with regard to device naming, the use of sections and entries in the registry, and function calling conventions. But it deviates from this model in one important waythe synchronous/asynchronous operational model, which is a callback scheme through which applications are notified of the success or failure of function calls and other events.
