Using the TAPI Programmer's Reference
The Microsoft Win32 Telephony application programming interface (TAPI)
provides services that enable an application developer to add telephone communications
to applications developed for operating systems that support the Microsoft® Win32® API, such as Microsoft® Windows NT® Workstation and Microsoft® Windows® 95.
The
TAPI Programmer's Reference is intended to help experienced programmers learn the API for telephony for
these operating systems, and to be used by developers familiar with the Win32
programming environment. Previous development experience with telecommunications
or other telephony applications is helpful but not necessary.
