tapiGetLocationInfo
The tapiGetLocationInfo function returns the country code and city (area) code which the user has set
in the current location parameters in the Telephony control panel. The
application may use this information to assist the user in forming proper canonical
telephone numbers, such as by offering these as defaults when new numbers are
entered in a phone book entry or database record.
LONG tapiGetLocationInfo(
LPCSTR lpszCountryCode,
|
| LPCSTR lpszCityCode
|
| );
|
|
Parameters
lpszCountryCode
A pointer to a memory location where a NULL-terminated ASCII string specifying
the country code for the current location is to be returned. The application
should allocate at least 8 bytes of storage at this location to hold the string

empty string (\0) will be returned if the country code has not been set for the
current location.
lpszCityCode
A pointer to a memory location where a NULL-terminated ASCII string specifying
the city (area) code for the current location is to be returned. The
application should allocate at least 8 bytes of storage at this location to hold the
string (TAPI will not return more than 8 bytes, including the terminating NULL).
An empty string (\0) will be returned if the city code has not been set for the
current location.
Return Values
Returns zero if the request is successful or a negative error number if an
error has occurred. Possible return values are TAPIERR_REQUESTFAILED.

Nostalgia .Net |
|
.Net is powerful, but not all-powerful, so sometimes we need to use Win32 API for our .Net applications. It's simple enough with Platform Invoke if you have Win32 skill, but we do not always have time to dig the ancient documentation, declare the special types that are compatible with Win32, find the values of the Win32's constants and so on. Nostalgia .Net offers several simple-to-use classes, and components that will allow you to forget about the headache of Win32 and just use the power of Win32 in your application the same way as you use the native. Net classes. More » |
