Configuration Functions
The configuration functions are obsolete on Windows NT. They are only for LAN Manager 2.x support. Use the registry functions to retrieve configuration information for Windows NT computers. Configuration functions retrieve network configuration information. The functions in the Configuration category retrieve information from the LANMAN.INI file. This is an ASCII file that contains configuration information for LAN Manager services as well as network configuration information for user-defined services and applications. It consists of component lines, entry lines, and comment lines, in the following format.- Component lines mark the start of a group of information, in this form: [component name]
- Entry (or parameter) lines contain a parameter and a value:
entry=value
