DDEML and Threads
The
DdeInitialize function registers an application with the DDEML, creating a DDEML instance.
A DDEML instance is thread-based, associated with the thread that called
DdeInitialize.
All DDEML function calls for objects belonging to a DDEML instance must be
made from the same thread that called
DdeInitialize to create the instance. If you call a DDEML function from a different thread,
the function will fail. You cannot access a DDEML conversation from a thread
other than the one that allocated the conversation.
