GetOldestEventLogRecord
The
GetOldestEventLogRecord function retrieves the absolute record number of the oldest record in the
specified event log.

Parameters
hEventLog
Identifies the open event log. This handle is returned by the
OpenEventLog or
OpenBackupEventLog function.
OldestRecord
Points to the variable that receives the absolute record number of the oldest
record in the given event log.
Return Values
If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero.
If the function fails, the return value is zero. To get extended error
information, call
GetLastError.
